Automatic matching of syntax pairs

Automatic matching of syntax pairs gives you immediate feedback on whether syntax elements that must be coded in pairs are correctly paired. This is known as delimiter matching in the Database Engine Query Editor. If you select one of these delimiters the other delimiter will be highlighted. This is useful but not entirely clear when you are working with a large query.

But did you know that CTRL + ] moves the cursor to the other delimiter and that CTRL + SHIFT + ] will highlight that selection. This is awesome and will save you much time when trying to track down that missing brace which is either skewing the result set or failing parsing.

The following delimites allow automatic matching of syntax pairs:
